David Icke // Essential Knowledge For A Wall Street Protestor
How not to be scammed by those you are protesting against.
Knowledge is power! I think everyone should take the time to hear what David Icke has to share in this video. In my opinion he is spot on in his observations and warnings about what is happening and what should happen.
Since I joined the occupation in Halifax I have been feeling the full spectrum of emotions. Some days I feel like the world is waking up and I am filled with an overwhelming feeling of hope and love. Other days I look around feeling despair as I see people going through their life ignoring the reality that a worldwide change is needed if we are to pull ourselves away from the brink of our own extinction.
Yesterday an Iraqi war veteran was shot in the face by Oakland police and is now lying in hospital in critical condition. I hope that this incident is enough of a wake up call for the people of the world to unite and stand up for their rights. No one is free until we all are.
Love, Light & Liberation
What it is, the demand the 1% can’t comprehend, is us. It is the individuals and villages, the cities and peoples across the world who are seeing each other on the far side of appeals and petition. It is the world we are becoming.

An Open Message to the 99% (Occupy Wall Street)
Revolutions are dangerous and unpredictable beasts,
and for a population to enter into one without fully understanding what is at stake
is much like handing a loaded 45 automatic to a toddler.
I can’t post enough of these warning videos. It is so important that we inform ourselves of the nature of the system we live in before we can create meaningful change.
OCCUPY ECON 101
Students stage walk-out on Harvard Prof.
When a science is dying, disciples begin to refuse initiation.
This is what happened last Wednesday in the class of Harvard economics professor Gregory Mankiw, with these simple opening words: “Today, we are walking out of your class.”
The rejection of Mankiw’s class is only a single event in the class of one professor, and yet this refusal may prove to be an event with a much wider significance. Mankiw’s econ 101 textbook, Principles of Economics, has made it into the minds of almost every economics student in the modern world and if the students of Mankiw can revolt, then it is possible that students everywhere can begin the task of rethinking the dysfunctional old neoclassical paradigm.
In response to the walk-out, Mankiw has only doubled down his orthodoxy, claiming that the 1% have suffered more than the 99% as a result of the recession. Now is the time for a global walk-out. Download a poster of the True Cost Economics Manifesto at kickitover.org and pin it up in the corridor of your department. Let’s start an all out meme war against our neoclassical profs and begin the daunting task of ushering in a new bionomic, psychonomic, ecological economics paradigm.
Now is a good time to begin an escalation and turn the whole world into a grand economics department … to occupy it.

The 99% visit Governor Walker
When Wisconsin Governor gave a speech at Chicago’s Union League Club the morning of Nov 3rd, he has some unexpected guests.
"I think the importance of doing activist work is precisely because it allows you to give back and to consider yourself not as a single individual who may have achieved whatever but to be a part of an ongoing historical movement."
- Angela Davis
Students from Sterling College in Vermont came down to Occupy Wall Street and showed us how to plant and sow seeds anywhere where there is soil. In this short film, they demonstrate how easy it is to grow winter greens and beets right in the parks flower beds, and then speak earnestly and passionately about the importance of farming, and understanding where our food comes from.
Occupy Together. Grow Together
Police arresting Occupy Nova Scotia protesters and dismantling camp.
Halifax Mayor Peter Kelly had police issue ean viction notice to Occupy Nova Scotia at noon on Remembrance Day — showing a complete lack of respect and disregard for veterans who fought for the right of free speech and assembly, as well as lack of respect for Remembrance Day itself.
EMERGENCY RALLY FOR Occupy Halifax TODAY (FRIDAY) at 3:00pm at VICTORIA PARK (Spring Garden Road at South Park Street, Halifax).
This is my local occupation and today the Mayor is attempting to silence us. Tomorrow he will only see the occupation grow.
