No sooner do we announce a new collabo album from the queen of fOnk Georgia Anne Muldrow and enigmatic producer extraordinaire Madlib, do we get hit with the first leak (and it does not disappoint). Listen to the LP’s title track “Seeds” (which you can cop as a single on Feb 14th). This album does not only mark the first album GAM has done as a vocalist exclusively over another producer’s work, but also the first full length album Madlib has done with a female vocalist. Says Georgia: “Not handling production and focusing strictly on the lyrics and vocals was a very different experience for me. It was as if I walked into someone else’s world and built a hut. But I’m very proud of the hut we built and am excited about the release.”

Georgia: “This album brought out a whole lot of characters outta me. Most of them are on the fierce side of the fence – (laughs) – it’s raw. The brother Madlib’s production is really great, and it inspired the concepts that i already hold near and dear within to find new contexts.”
